  1. Love it! ā¤ā¤ā¤ An amazing garden with lots of flowers and colours! Maybe you could add a few (more) native plants to support wild life, for example for wild bees here and there? They are usually not so spectacular like Dahlias for example, but one is rewarded by the humming of the bees and can observe so much! Keep up the good work! Really wonderful garden.

  2. Oh, I love your front deck garden. It's so beautiful, colorful, and weird to say but cozy. Have you ever thought of adding a hammock? LOL I really appreciate all of the extra details that you provide. Some YT videos I watch don't bother to mention the size of the pots or the number of plants in them. It's fascinating how some plants make it through and you did nothing to them, like 'Bob'.🌻This is my first year sowing sunflowers. Sowing anything, really. They've started spouting but are not ready to pot up. I will look into the Provence variety you have. I like how they produce multiple blooms vs the single "one and done" variety. Which is what I got. Thanks for the lovely tour, Texas Zone8bšŸŒž

  3. Such a beautiful garden. I love the contribution to the video by your pigeon friends! Will you be saving seeds from your one remaining Floret zinnia, so that you can plant some again next year? Maybe save some seeds from the Bob sunflower as well, since that is one stunning sunflower on your deck. Your new cat statue is darling sitting among the plants. I'm a cat lover too.

  4. You should keep some of Bob's seeds for next year. Bob is looking very good. Looks like even side shoots are long enough to put in a bouquet.

  5. I have a question about your rudbeckia again. A couple videos ago I asked you when you planted them. You mentioned fall of last year. How did you over winter them. Leave them on the deck, cover them or pull them inside? Thanks

  6. Our morning Glory just produced seed pods ( gumball sized orb) with 4 to 6 large seeds inside. We harvested once they browned a little and others dried and began to split open, They are a monster of a vine! I agree they take over and 1 plant in a well placed trellis is more than one could ever want. Thank you for the epic garden tour and being beautiful all around!
We'd love to see you grow Teddy Bear sunflowers next year!
    Later! the Shire.

  7. I’m looking forward to your video about putting things in your garage to over winter. I plan to do the same thing & don’t know what to leave outside and what to put in the garage. I am going to be bubble wrapping some of the larger pots that I’ll leave out to protect them.

  8. Bethany your garden is beautiful i love the birds too one of my monarch butterflies almost got snatched by a blue bird this morning but she flew out of her grasp 😊 greetings from my butterfly garden in ft Lauderdale.

  9. Absolutely beautiful! It IS hard to believe it's already September! Praying we have a warm autumn this year!

  10. LOVE the silly pigeons! The interaction with wildlife is a garden benefit people don’t always realize! I have hummingbirds, bees, butterflies, squirrels and lots of random birds that visit and many are quite curious and interactive!

  11. Everything looks so healthy and nice… your pots are full to the brim. I'd love to have such a beautiful garden! You truly have a green thumb!

  12. I was just wondering will your garage deck be accessible for you to show for the neighborhood garden walk? Also I've started harvesting my gomphrena when do you harvest yours?

  13. Your Pigeon stealing the show gave me a laugh. You would think there would be lots of them here in South Carolina but it's not the case. We do have plenty of Doves though and they do look similar.

  14. You should add some deep purple Sweet Potato vine to your all white cart next year. There is a newer climbing variety that would be gorgeous mixed with the black-eyed Susan. A trailing variety would be beautiful too. The purple is very dark, almost black, and would make the white flowers and dusty Dichondra pop so well. Contrasting foliage does wonders for monochromatic combos. They also come with a couple different leaf shapes too which is fun!

  15. Love your garden videos, I also live in Chicago, on the South side. I saw the cinnamon petuina last at Gethsemane and have been looking for it ever since. Where did you buy it?

  16. My Ex said gardening is lame, and definitely not as smart as this gardening wiz. I'm glad to see there is still hope for gardening in the community.
    Wonderful creations are so refreshing.
