After the snow yesterday, I just hit record and walked through the Highland section this morning… 40 seconds of pure Nepenthes chaos.
Wall-to-wall Nepenthes. Ceiling hooks dripping with villosa, edwardsiana, hamata, lowii, macrophylla, veitchii, burbidgeae, you name it. Every bench is double-stacked, every aisle is a jungle gym of hanging pots. The humidity is at a comfortable 70-90% temps are 55f-80f and the air smells like wet moss.
(Headphones recommended – my commentary
mixed mixed with the fans make it sound like a rainforest ASMR video)
Anyone else’s Highland house looking like it’s one more pot away from structural collapse? Drop your own chaos pics below.

I wouldn’t tell anyone if I won the lottery, but there would be signs…
How do you end up with a collection of this scale? Where could you possibly get the funds? lol. A little bit genuinely curious too.
Oh to be a spider living in this greenhouse
