Caudex Dioscorea elephantipes has stopped growing its vines by putting out new leaves but it’s fattening so fast and hasn’t yet dropped leaves. I think I have to repot it during its next growth. I still can’t believe it’s related to ube (Dioscorea alata), a cultural crop of my country, the Philippines. April 22, 2026
