This came up in another discussion here, so I thought I’d share.
These are my solutions for sheep and goat shelter without a barn. I’ve tried a few things over the last few years and these tarps over cattle panel are my favorite.
I’ve also made a small water tower, which combined with a trough and float valve, saves a lot of hose dragging.
And you can see a shot of an earlier shelter design, which I’ve modified into a hay crib for square bales.
As you can see, these are not expensive to build and they’re surprisingly sturdy.
