MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) – It won’t be long before kids go back to school. Today, some area children had an opportunity to have some fun while receiving supplies to get ready for the upcoming academic year.

Renaissance Corridor held its back-to-school bash earlier today on North Joachim Street in downtown Mobile. It was in conjunction with the Mobile Housing Authority.

Youngsters could get free food and school supplies and also enjoy some music and games.

The back-to-school bash served residents in the Orange Grove and Renaissance Garden communities.
