I have several Calathea, but I have always been afraid of the "White fusion" which is magnificent. Yesterday, I was going to buy some potting mix, but when I saw the Calathea "Stella" I didn't leave it there! I am very afraid, even if it is "theoretically" simpler than a « White Fusion », it is still a calathea varigatted. Do you have any advice, or should I do Vodou to keep it in good condition!

They’re chill. I’ve had mine since it was a tiny baby, and it’s no more difficult than any other calathea.

My Stella is probably the most unhappy calathea I have, but it’s got some new leaves coming in and I think it’s still adjusting to my environment. It also had spider mites pretty bad, so it could be doing worse, all things considered.

My white fusion is the fastest grower of all my calatheas. I’ve had it for 6 weeks now and it’s easily tripled the number of leaves it has. I even repotted it when I got it home and it never skipped a beat. I do keep it in my plant room where I can control the conditions. Humidity 45-60% and under grow light for 14hrs/day
