Got this ZZ from a nursery that wasn’t doing too well. It ended up not making it but this cutting seems viable to prop. I know very little about propagation so I wanted to check if this was the right setup. Anything I should change or do differently?

It is possible it can make it, grow a rhizome and produce roots. Make sure you change the water regularly and check the cut for rot. These are rhizome plants, so they produce little bulbs. If not, it might be more worth it to try again with a new plant. These plants require very little watering and moderate to mild light. I basically leave mine alone in a corner and gets watered maybe every three months or longer. Good luck!
