  1. As hard as it is with attachment to our animals I cannot imagine how hard this was for you. You done good girl! Keep it up, Our Lord is right there with you.

  2. Hi Jess, one way we help with selenium is we use redmons salt with selenium. Adults lick on it free choice. ❤

  3. I asked my brother in law who raises sheep about what might me the causes.
He said honestly some of the issue is likely from the time of year they were born. Sheep prefer to lamb in Temps between 40 and 70 °F
Summer lambs are often weaker and more prone to immune deficiency.
He also said to keep an eye on mom's as flystrike is a possibility after birth drainage and the heat.

  4. When you’re dealing with a new situation is it really indecision or is it processing options? It looked like processing options to make the best decision to me. I’m sorry for the losses you’ve had recently. Remember the wins as well, you have two lambs who are doing better because you took action. Sometimes life’s hard. When it gets hard I remember what you tell your sons…you can do the hard things. Love ya Jess.

  5. I am glad they are better. I wish the others could have been saved. With that said what an awesome sight… a lamb, that seemed to be blemish free in a home… How many times did the Israelite families (when they still sacrificed) have lambs in their homes. Seeing them there touched my heart. It was just a precious reminder of how the Lord provided for them and still provides for us.

  6. Praying they all pull through! You’re a good farm mama! Super cute picture of them below your fireplace while they were in the dog bed ❤. Also, William Wallace….what a mood! Haha love ❤

  7. You are amazing and will learn everything you can from this and only be better next time! And we have all learned something here too. Thank you for your honesty because if you hadn’t we wouldn’t have learned❤️

  8. I love seeing the uplifting and helpful messages in support! I think it is important for you to show these moments of indecision and the process you use to figure things out. I wouldn't have known where to even start! I think it is also important to remember that each new thing we begin something new there are new lessons to learn. Now that you understand that there might be mineral deficiency you can protect from that. Good job rolling with the punches!

  9. Life seems to go this way sometimes. No problems and then a multitude all at once. Praying for positive outcomes. 🙏❤

  10. Good job in a difficult situation! Don’t second guess yourself. That is unsolicited advice from a champion second guesser! You sheep your decision! God bless you and yours!

  11. I squealed when I saw those little babies. So sweet. Ty for being real and showing us. Best thoughts and wishes to you and those babies. You are so amazing to me. ❤

  12. Thanks for sharing the good and bad of taking care of animals. It's heartbreaking to lose new babies. Sometimes things just happen. I like you attitude about learning from these situations. Hang in there.

  13. Keeping you in my prayers. This is the difficult part of life for certain, you will journey through it with the Holy Spirit as He comforts and guides you and the Joy of the Lord will be your strength.
I bless you and the Lord keep you in His care.

  14. Aww, the first lamb wanted to nurse from you. It's funny how many animals seem to know where to go even on humans.

  15. Could it be to warm? Isn't lambing usually a spring thing? You are always doing your best and that is sometimes all we can do
