I think it would be a very helpful introduction or a reminder to your subscribers if you posted a message on Garden Answer regular Videos and FaceBook every time you upload a Garden Answer Highlights YouTube Video. This would especially be good for the new subscribers that do not know about your Garden Answer Highlights channel. I just love the inter action between you and Aaron.
There is nothing wrong with a lawn. The grass provides a place for worms and other bugs. Letting the lawns go meadow like are for lazy gardeners and hopefully, the fad will stop.
Aaron and Laura do you remember the little chains that look like silver beads? A lot of times they would be hooked to a bathroom rubber stopper so they can pull them out. I seem to remember that in my childhood. I wonder if they still make it, and if it would work for your rain chain For the splashing?
Glad to hear you have joined the sourdough party. It is so much fun and bit hit and miss in the beginning. You can make great sourdough crackers with the discard . 1 cup discard ,1cup flour 2tab sps oil ,1 teaspoon salt ,then what ever flavour herbs you like. I made the mistake of sending some off to my husband ‘s men’s shed . He keeps bringing back the empty jar to be refilled. Love watching your videos from Australia.
Yes I told my son to put a drip into his fountain that the hummingbirds just absolutely love and I told him make sure the drip is out of the water or will siphon it back out, and it has worked really well for him. I had the drip system running into my Koi pond as well.
Laura, I really enjoy your recaps. As to the cattails exploding, my mom used to spray hers with hairspray and they never exploded; just a thought. Also, didn’t you put the extension cords through a plastic pipe for your Christmas lights? Wouldn’t that be better for the fountain you just installed; then you wouldn’t have to worry about hitting it with an auger and cutting the cord. I have learned so much from you through the years. Fantastic. Thank you for all your hard work.

Never put it past the government to encroach on your property. They don’t need a reason they just want your property so that you don’t have no reasons 😱🤥😜😎
Selfish of you not to put a pool in for your family. You have used acres and acres just for your own playground. Give Aaron and those two beautiful children a family enjoyment. Not always about just you.

iT IS CALLED "SPLASH LINE" FOR YOUR FOUNTAIN.
Ask Alan Titchmarsh how many estate gardens he's designed. You have at least 3 more in your future before you retire!
My surfire begonias grew better later in the season in Roseburg

Hi Laura, try rain /water chain for fountains. If you wanted a craft with the kids you could use fish line and beads
or stones.
The line you are looking for you fountain is called splash line I had to get out of Amazon and go to Google and they went right to it.

Horses > pool
