  1. I have been wondering if ants are in your garden. My last garden was super bad with them so I sprinkled cinnamon on the ground and they went away.

  2. Awesome planting day, crowned with the placement of the serviceberry tree! The look on your face when you saw all the drip lines where you wanted the tree was priceless! You hit hurdles today and yet made it around them all! Glad you include them. You tell it like it is! Why we love you and your podcasts!! Beautiful color with your echinaceas. They truly are workhorses! Love them in my small garden and have picked up great tips from you about them. Water being the biggest! Thanks Laura! ❤

  3. Absolutely loved 😂 all the “commotion” in the garden video today whether it is cute kiddos, pets, mishaps and frustrations, we have those days in life, house, garden, work, that we’re not sure whether to laugh or cry but it is real life & can teach us patience. Thanks for keeping it REAL Garden Answer! Much ❤🙏🏻 sent your way!

  4. Thank you for showing the mess ups to us….makes us feel much better when we make goof ups knowing someone who we admire also has those problems too

  5. i know it's my 3rd comment but, I want you to know that your allowing us to see the real life of a gardener is truly heart felt Love. I have so many fails in my garden I was feeling like quitting. I don't feel happy that your day was rough but, I now feel like It might be just a little bit ok to have a rough day. I'm not perfect. Thank you for sharing!!! God Bless! By the way the Kneeling pads are AWSOME!!

  6. love seeing your kids in your videos. just curious, are they homeschooled?

  7. That cotton candy grows so tall it is going to offer some beneficial shade for the newly planted. Bonus!❤❤❤

  8. Three crab apple arcing through that space would be gorgeous. Had to fix our main polycop line today with a brass connector. Gratefully had strong handed help!❤❤❤

  9. just a friendly suggestion – would you be able to move away some mulch before you use the auger so that you can avoid damaging the irrigation tubes?

  10. Oh, Laura, I've certainly had days like that where if it's not one thing it's another. All little things right down to the two right handed gloves. What a day.

  11. Echinacea beautiful and a healthy tea for the colder days just around the corner . Maybe have a portion of your show with drying prep with buds and leaves . Great tasting healthy gifts for Fall .

  12. Echinacea tour! Sweet;) I’m thinking… don’t plant unique varieties together? They reseed and you might get some weird ones! Maybe that’s what you want!🎉

  13. All the little fishies are going to be eating out of your hand before you know it, Samantha and Benjamin look so cute out playing with father❤🐸

  14. Beautiful Laura! Just decided I need mor Echinacea in my life! What are the yellow flowers in the shot with the White Swan at 15:00 Kind of a buttery yellow. Is that Echinacea too? They are so pretty!

  16. I think 'willy-nilly' planting is best because you're not limited in your choices along the way. Having a pre-design limits one's choices along the way.

  17. I agree with the majority! Love that you leave in the real life situations, the ants, weeds, punctures /puncture vine and kids running by! That’s real gardening and work from home life! We appreciate you and your family!

  18. You go girl! You are the real deal. I love how you get in there and repair the tubing. There are so few female youtubers who get their hands dirty. You are building an Empire.
Perhaps it's only optics and he's doing other things, but I wish Aaron helped you out more with planting. (occasionally)

  19. Hi Laura! Even with the ant hill, you were still able to plant – how do remove ant hills from your garden? Will they damage the plants you put down in their area? As always, great video!

  20. i went on the website you buy from and superbena was 10.00 ea plus 18. for shipping, i'm going to look little more here, then may buy from site you use 🙂

  21. You mentioned the landscape fabric for the bind weed issue in the Arborvitae hedge. We recently bought a house and have a TERRIBLE Creeping Charlie issue. It’s throughout the flower beds and throughout the grass. I’ve been too intimidated to try anything, any advice on where to start?
