I was following Planta instructions (apparently a mistake) as one half of the now shriveled was wrinkling. Did I over water? Should I separate the shriveled and the turgid?

I’m fairly new to owning lithops, but I think your soil is too organic. I’d try to research separating them and then repot the good head into a gritty mix in a terracotta pot. They need crazy drainage.

Should I just get some sand and mix with the soil that I have? I have Miracle Grow for succulents.
