Hi all,
Southern hemisphere so it's winter but I'm in the subtropics.

2 of my little butts , despite being taut and squish-free on top, are wrinkling below.
I've watered one in this state before and lost him, but it also might have been too late?

Do they need watering? Do I leave them be?

some could stand to get more wrinkley they look healthy. they act like little reservoirs when water does come they expend taking in as much as possible, then when it is scarce they use from their stores. a few wrinkles are normal and healthy. as long as the tops are good, the green and red/brown are are good.

the super wrinkley worry me slightly. try giving just them water much make sure they are in a warm place. I might even be tempted to move them to a different pot, they look kinda wrong, like they might be rotting underneith. the underside has completely wrinked but the top hasn’t got many wrinkles, normally i have found it is more even than that.

is your potting medium the same all the way down? as in you dont have stones on top of compost or anything like that?
