

I noticed when I watered my pitcher today that there was a baby pitcher at the interior base of the plant. Anyone know what this means? Is it like a Keiki in orchid-land? Or does this just happen sometimes? It for sure wasn’t there last weekend. (See 2nd pic).
(And yes I know Pitchers don’t like wet feet I just put the bowl there during watering, to protect the stuff on the shelf below, it’s gone now)

It’s a basal shoot. They naturally grow from the base of most Nepenthes as they mature, but will also develop off vines if the growth point gets damaged.
What is your grow chamber like? Where did you get it?
