Breathtaking view at 11:55.
I have a rose bush that i was planning on pulling out at the end of last season but for sentimental reasons i cut it back almost to the ground and this year i swear it has 100’s of buds. Im so happy .
To control the size of a potted knockout rose, I’m cutting back to the fifth leaf. Is this correct. I’ll plant it in the ground in the fall, but enjoying it on the deck now. I feel there should be more blooms. It’s a sunny location. Ideas?
I got very excited when you said your Black Lace Elderberry can grow in zones 4-11!! I'm in Zone 8a and would love to plant one here!
I finally got my hands on a Colette rose hoping it would be a good performer. Looking forward to seeing it fill out. My smoke bush wants to get massive but severe pruning doesn’t phase it. It has self seeded and am not sure which ones I want to keep so I cut them back to the ground and they come right back up. Watching your channel is a great wealth of information and beauty.
Hello Laura, just wanted when the next roses tour is ❤️🌹
Question: With normal elderberry flowers we make all kinds of recipes from syrup, tea, fermented drinks, etc. Are the Black Laced ones the same? Do you make anything with the flowers?
New Gardner in Ohio: watching from my chemotherapy chair. It delivers a nice feeling.
I love your enthusiasm for plants. It's contagious
Morning Sweet Laura, and Family,
I have a perfect spot for a Black Lace Elderberry, but I'm wondering if I'd be able to train it into more of a tree form?
Gardening is so therapeutic, the roses are lovely. I wish I could have a garden like that. 👏🤗
Oh my goodness…your Black Lace Elderberry bushes are gorgeous. After your episode yesterday, when you were planting up your basket weave cement pot, I was loving the view of the 3 Elderberries in the background. SO I RAN OUT AND BOUGHT ONE. And I just came in from planting her. ❤️❤️❤️
Beautiful Garden tour🌻. Thank you .
Good morning!
Beautiful grouping of plants! 🥰
We've been in the 105° or higher and summer is here 😢. Wanted more spring time.
I’ve got my cup of coffee and I’m ready to go planting … everyone have a wonderful day 🌱🌸🌻
Bless you!
You can cover this scaffolding with Campsis in both yellow and red colors or Honeysuckle it smells wonderful in the evening
☮️🌎🌲
I love the randomness. Such beautiful gardens Laura. Great job ❤❤
Your plants are so pretty
Yup you're in your element! What an inspiration to build our life around our interests!
I've seen a few of your videos with use of hardy geraniums now, and I think they may be my answer to a pretty ground covering plant. We have the backside of our property that we have the hardest time keeping up with weeds that come over from the neighbours side so I think growing hardy geranium may help.
At just under 21 minutes, I thought James Galway is a climber? Will you use an obelisk or did you mean Silas Marner? Thank you!🤗
I miss growing roses but Japanese beetles have made it nearly impossible here in Iowa! Also, hardy geraniums are almost invasive here!
Loved seeing your Elderberry’s and their sizes!! I need one!
Love those black lace elderberries even more! Do the honey bees like them?
Climbing roses would be beautiful climbing up and over the arbor at the end of the video. 🌹 Have a wonderful day planting! 🙂
You showed one of your Aphrodite shrubs right next to one of the black lace elderberry – do you think you'll have to move it since the Aphrodite also gets so big, or are you wanting them to kind of grow together?
Looking absolutely beautiful ❤
The black lace elderberry are so beautiful at two and three years, and older! Very dramatic. As usual this is a very pleasing video. Your gardens are glorious! 🤗
You absolutely HAVE to plant Star Jasmine vine on that arbor!!! The smell that the flowers produce is incredible!
Wild rose heuchera would look good in the West side garden….😊
Did you say Colette? Col-ette' accent on the second syllable.
Did you know that roses smell different for men and women? You and Arron should test for us.
1.9M subscribers….Almost to 2! Congrats!
Everything is looking so beautiful this year! ❤❤❤
When giving your hardy geranium’s their pruning after their first flush, what do you use to prune? Would hedge trimmers be overkill?
I have the same hardy geranium. I planted it in my grandma's garden in 1998. When she passed in 2001, I dug it and moved it one province over to my garden in Alberta. It stayed there for 18 months when we sold that house and moved one more province west to British Columbia. It's been in my garden ever since. It will always represent my grandma ❤
Laura where is your signature footwear?! I've been Been a fan for 5+ years. I love, love, love your enthusiasm and inspiration. You turned me into a garden gal for sure, thank you for all that you do!
Good morning Miss Laura! A climbing hydrangea might be a nice option for the arbor. Every time I see the arbor, I think 'climbing hydrangea'. Just wondering if you've considered it (?). The arbor is quite large so they might compliment one another nicely but that may be more 'bulk' than you prefer for that area – which is understandable. Thank you, for the daily inspiration!
