okay the other day I went and trimmed somebody’s house with my uh little black Anda 20 volt trimmer and a lot of people said that it was junk and I didn’t like it and I had that trimmer a long time and I’ve used it a long time but I guess compared to what is out there today I’ll have to agree with them so uh I’ve been guilted into buying an ego power string trimmer and this is the top-of-the-line model carbon fiber with the line IQ Auto feed no bump high performance trimming so let’s get this put together and uh make a video of it uh Power that it has the battery’s already been charged up and uh it’s ready to go so without further Ado Let’s Get It On I’ve only open the box to uh take the battery out and put it on a charger this this trimmer comes with a 4 amp hour battery and a spare 2.5 amp hour battery everything else in here that you see is first time opening it for me to look at it okay so what we have here is we have the manual and some extra string and we have some tools like an allen wrench and uh what I will do is I’ll put a link in the description where I got this on Amazon and you will get a free extra battery if you buy it there all right I thought it was a pretty good deal same price as that Lowe’s had so that’s the deal so I’m going to put this bag of tools to one side let’s open up uh find any installation instructions the charger the battery power string trimmer there a manual on the battery a manual on the charger and a manual on the trimmer let’s see I put the trimmer out to one side know your string trimmer unfolding the shaft assembly this product requires assembly inspect the tool carefully do not attempt to start the trimmer until the shaft has been locked I wonder how you add attachments for this then if that’s the case so we’re going to unfold the shaft and lock it in place that’s a handle and this is the trimmer let’s unfold this and get you over here which all it is is unfolding and then we have to lock that in place it looks like we have to put that screw in it I’m assuming okay so let’s find that piece which I think must be this telescopic carbon fiber shaft with lifetime warranty okay this is threading right in nice and easy so that tells me this will be locked in place not much to that really before I go any further with that let me take a look at the handle here and see where that goes that’s the handle let’s have to figure this out see where we’re going with it mhm I’m supposed to tighten that all the way up all right where do we go oh it’s right in here we’re supposed to tighten this all the way and that’s that’s it okay now the next thing is we’re supposed to do is we’re supposed to put this guard on that’s down here we got we’ve got a couple of screws here there you go this is set up right down here you’re going to tip this upside down and they’re they’re going to go right in here like this okay that’s going to go just like that let’s position this a little bit better for us here so we can understand it better to get you right in here okay all right for for this just seems a little quirky to me I don’t know why that side’s in let’s get the other side that’s threading now just a little quirky to get it started [Music] the trickiest thing so far in the install has been attaching this but really no big deal for all right that feels pretty tight and now I think we have to deal with the handle not sure exactly how the handle goes on but let’s see if we can figure it out okay that’s where the manual come in handy I’m assuming it goes somewhere where in here [Music] remove the lever and release nut from the handle that’s this here so that’s what we’re doing we’re getting rid of this so that’s what we’ve done like it said this is the Mount zone for the handle right in here so I’m going to put it on like this it could be upside down but I’m not really sure that’s kind of tight how do I get it on there [Music] all right says we got to push it on there so let’s see what we can do might not have enough strength to do this there we go that’s it all I got it that looks pretty good let’s turn this over now it says put this clamping block back in there all right so that kind of goes here like this okay clamp block and then this has to screw into that like this and this goes underneath here this will screw on the bottom here I believe no it’s got to go this way yeah that goes that way so this will screw on here I think we’re going to just turn in until we can get this to clamp on it going to get a pure pliers for this all right I’m back I’m just going to tighten this up a little bit cuz right now in there it’s it’s just very loose and it’s not it’s not clamping so I’m just going to tighten it up a little bit I thought that would have been metal but it’s not yeah maybe just just a little nudge more okay there you go there we are so far so good now we we’ll take this off not sure quite what this is for yet or maybe it’s for like a uh maybe like for a holder I’m not sure height locking clamp this is the height locking clamp right here all right but test this for size hopefully you’ll be in the right spot to see me all right this is the height locking clamp right here if I undo this I should be able to pull this up a little bit right like that and put it back down let’s see if that’s any better for me a little more that’s up all the way actually that that feels pretty good for me feels pretty good okay now let’s put the battery in this thing just out the R I got my battery right over here got a little label on it I put on there it says trimmer battery so I’ll know which one goes in the trimmer this is a 4 amp hour the blower I bought is a 5 amp hour battery and the free batteries that came with this it came with two free 2.5 amp hour batteries so we’re just going to slide this in okay that’s it that’s where it goes what do we got now I got a couple of labels to take off all right got a label there a label here got a label here and that’s it that’s ready to rock and roll I guess let’s go do a little section here let’s get this going up in the front and just try some weed whacking along the wall here this is definitely a two-handed operation two-handed for sure [Applause]
