I think this is big enough, and fast growing enough to not need grafted. Just let it callous and bury it an inch or 2. I suppose if you want a frankencacti you could graft to whatever.

Root it and pour the coal to it with nutrients and you’ll be fine.

The biggest cactus you don’t mind grafting onto that is fat with a nice rootball.
Personally, if I wanted to prop I’d make grafts from the bottom inch or two and root the rest.
