Another beautiful project! I love it Laura and such an awesome idea to upcycle that gorgeous fountain ⛲️!
Beautiful transformation!
This has to be my favorite spot in your garden now. It turned out beautifully. Good job! ❤
I love you reusing the fountain for as long as it holds up. I adore the top of it! Fantastic. Oh my yet more boxwoods. That's all I have to say about THAT! I know you love the formal gardens & yours are EXCELLENT. I just do not tolerate those crazy bushes – too much for an old 75 yrs old southern woman. The underneath is glorious except….Hugs (((())))
Awesome 👌
Just a suggestion. A larger round basin that sits on the ground. It can be a bubbler or spraying fountain or a water garden. Without blocking any view.
I love how it all came together paint looks nice and the flowers are so beautiful, thanks for sharing so nice.
BRAVA!!! This one blew me away. Hands-down my favorite recipe of all time. Spectacular!!! I haven't missed a single show in over four years, so that's saying a lot.
P.S. I never noticed a tree or plant in my life. Now I drive every day with the distinct pleasure of noticing trees and plants, even in drive-thrus.
Lynne here. I really appreciate that you are reusing something that is perfectly functional as a planter. In this throw away society and the need for perfection it’s tempting to go buy new. Well, just look at what you created……. It’s beautiful and I’m sure many of your viewers like me, enjoy these kinds of videos that inspire us to do something similar yet on a smaller scale. Bravo! very impressive Laura.
Love it
Is there some kind of sealant that can be put on the old fountain to protect it from the elements? It looks beautiful by the way!
The Hartley is accented with the color and angular form of the fountain’s angle points and white fairy trail hydrangeas !! Perfect , Laura !
Yesssssss I’ve been waiting for this video lol
Gorgeous! Keep it ! There's nothing wrong with it
Im not a huge fan of boxwoods, but they definitely work to help bring the formal and whimsical together in this application.
THAT FOUNTAIN PIECE IS PERFECT!!! The shape works well with the shape of the garden and the lines accent the Hartley in the background. The plants are beautiful and bringing the boxwood in tied it all together.
This project really hit the mark! Great vision and execution. Loved the team work to put the “planter” in place
Wow just wow I love all of it!!!!
Beautiful Laura 😍 🤩 this was a fun one to watch and be inspired!!
That piece that you used to test the stain color would make a great phone standi. I'm always looking for something to prop my phone up on while watching youtube videos.
Turned out gorgeous ❤
I actually love the fountain base conversion. It adds a more antique looking element to an area where everything is new.
there are succulents that grow long and would look like water from a distance!
Girl! You found your solution for that spot. It is BEAUTIFUL . I really love the plants around the base and need that arrangment in my life.
Laura. This is one of my favourite pieces of all time. It’s simply beautiful. I have a fountain I am going to do this with in my garden. Beautiful choice of flowers and stain colour. Aarons face looked very impressed. You are blessed with style and talent. Love you channel 💕
I love it! Great job. The mix of plants/Shrubs is really nice. ❤
That's beautiful Laura
I loooooove it!
And that's why I love watching Garden Answer!! Always teaching me something new!!
Very nice! 😊
It's beautiful
I love how you do updates and tours! That is the best! It's fun to see the original planting, but then when you don't get to see it as it grows, it's not as fun 🤣
Didn't know wood stain could be used on concrete!!! Love this tip so much.
Oh my that is looking like it’s going to be stunning! The grey stain suits it and I can’t wait to see it as it grows!
I think you should turn it into a water bubbler for the kids to play in
I think this is the most beautiful the circle has ever looked, including the old brick circle in the old brick patio. So wonderful to reuse an old fountain. Great plant choice! Thank you for sharing the process.
I’d love to see what your mom thinks of this. It is beautiful Laura!
Gorgeous!
I love how the hard angles combined with the rounded shape on the bowl and base mimic the shape of the brick patio – and the plant selection really sets the space off perfectly!
This is one of my top favorite Garden Answer projects ever! It is absolutely stunning!
Hi! Can someone tell me what size main line tubing and emitter tubing Laura uses and where to purchase it? Thank you!
That turned out so pretty.
Laura, You need to have a party on that beautiful brick patio and invite me 😉
What an exciting and fun project. The end result is a whimsical, cottage almost fairy garden look.
Wow, this turned out great!
I had a cracked concrete bird bath. Instead of discarding I filled it full of soil and put in some impatiens and coleus and a little garden bird as it’s shady…perfection.
