I bought three bags of miracle grow this year 2024. I literally had to sift this miracle grow because there was so many twigs and sticks in it. Then there was dirt. The seeds could not get through now that I’ve shifted it. I have a full pot of nothing but twigs and everything is growing well now since I shifted it, that’s a shame. It’s very expensive. To be full of sticks and twigs it cost a lot of money.
An easy rule of thumb with botanical Latin is that each vowel is pronounced separately. So, bap-TIH-zee-uh, rather than bap-teeshuh. Viburnum dah-VID-ee-eye, rather than david-eye.
Laura, I agree with everyone else! You've done SOO much for all of us already!! I know my life and yard have you to thank!!! Gardening has brought so much light in my life. The only losing party is my wallet! 😂 Keep your home private! I drive through and stop at Andrew's every time we drive to see my Navy boys in Washington! I always dream of finding your house. I've never looked, though. You truly do deserve your privacy!
Aron, the city never came after us but our roots were clearly wrapped around a pipe that burst . They did not address it outside of showing it to us. We are in the hills where trees are all over.
I'm 47yrs old. $73,000 biweekly and I'm retired, this video have inspired me greatly in many ways that I remember my past of how I struggled with many things in life to be where I am today!!!!❤️
We live on a street that people walk on, I get comments and questions about flowers and plants. One young woman asked about the aliums, she said, "I have only seen those on Garden Answer", you are connecting many of us with all you share.
Yes the trees root do effect the sewer system, out neighbor had to have the yard dug up and the tree taken down.first they just cut the roots that effected the sewer than the tree started dieing.❤
when you go through changes in the garden, they call it " MENOPAUSE GARDENING". SOME PEOPLE PLANT BEAUTIFUL FLOWER , DAYS LATER, THEY DON'T LIKE IT, GARBAGE THE LIVE HEALTHY PLANTS.
I think that’s called the choke on your drill! I do have rocks in my soil. I have a DeWalt drill and Laura edition auger. I just pulse the drill until I cal feel if there’s any rocks. Works great!!
I would LOVE a tour of your gardens. But I agree with previous comments. DON'T open your lovely home to tours. Let it remain your sanctuary. We are lucky enough that you share your space; gardens, home, family, etc. Thanks for the fabulous content. You're a highlight of my day
Don’t do anything that you don’t want to do. I do think that gardeners are for the most part are truly delightful people. I am so happy that you share on YouTube.
About aphids. My aspens got them every spring. What I minded was the sticky stuff they produce that brought yellow jackets in massive amounts. The solution was to buy ladybugs and praying mantis. The aphid were gone in days and so were the yellow jackets! That was 4 years ago and I still see these little pest controllers every summer.
Re your comment about your helpers, I SO AGREE! One great employee – smart, clever, helpful, self-starting, innovative – IS GOLD – is worth 20 average workers!!! So glad for you that you have found these terrific folks to be on your teams. AND I think their willingness to be on your teams, is because of WHO YOU TWO ARE!!! Outstanding workers and employers yourselves, Love love love your channel!
In our county-San Luis Obispo, CA–, every seller has to give the City of SLO a video of their sewer line that meets up to the city sewer line in the street. Tree roots invade the older clay or iron pipes. At this time the city is not requiring you to repair the line in order to sell the property. A copy is given to the buyer as is all inspections, and sellers knowledge of property (SPQ-sellers property questionnaire). The owner of a home is responsible for the line to the street. So, it is best to have this inspected prior to purchasing an older property using clay or iron regardless of a requirement from local ordinances. We've had buyers repair the line once purchased. If a septic system fails–has to be re-engineered to a tune of over $30,000+. Oh poo!
My weigela floribunda takes that octopus arching form sometimes after chopping back previous year. I think your ninbark might be our physocarpus, here ours is6x4 multistem, it looks good as a standard shape when younger too.

The only way you could do a tour and be "fair," is by lottery. By the way, pick me! 😅❤😊

We have a tree we thought was done. We thought the woodpecker finally did it in. Cut it all the way back, and now it's huge and beautiful!!

Evergreens don't just stop growing. Tag says 2 ft, but they will eventually grow through the fence. Come on now.
You mentioned tests from people. Do you offer viewers to text.

too bad hayracks couldn't go on raised garden bed fence. Maybe make lavenders grow with extra water. Kaleidoscope rainbow effect. 💐🍡🌈
They grow in florida

Didn't Aaron used to have a lot of gray in his beard? Is he coloring his beard hair?
Instead of a tour how about doing a calendar every year? 21:34
I cannot see what you are turning, on the drill.
My Zepherine rose has thorns….any reason you can think of why?
Just give me all the gaura❤
We used to live on a farm and it was super fun to drive a bobcat!!! We had 2 of them and used them all the time!!

According to Google, you were pronouncing baptisia correctly. 😊
Truth be told what would you’ll do if Paul & Bethany said “We’re outta here”?
I love guara plants. My favorite ❤❤
