  2. I'm struggling with tiny gnats all in the soil of my pots. My plants are struggling big time, they should be huge by now as i started from seed indoors like two months ago. Just watered them with a water and hydrogen peroxide mixture tonight. Going to try vinegar and water also supposedly kills fungus gnats.

  3. ❤❤❤❤❤ for Tuck. Unseasonably hot weather is messing with my garden so far.

  4. James, your videos have been so encouraging to me this year. I'm in my third year of gardening and starting to feel like I understand a few things. It's a journey! Your positivity and honesty are so wonderful, and of course Tuck ♥️ Thank you for what you're doing!

  5. First year, made the garden too big. I couldn’t keep up. I learned from my mistake and slowly grew over the years.

  6. i sprayed neem oil on my eggplants two days ago and now it looks like its dying could it be that its too young ??how big does the plant have to be before spraying it with neem ? i did have a back up and if it doesn't look better I'll just pull it … I'm in 7a also … i need to know how often to water celery in pots… its either raining here all the time or its so hot like yesterday and today … either there's too much water or not enough ?

  7. We love your channel and Tuck! We started asparagus 3 years ago and now our bouvier loves to eat it like Tuck. ❤

  8. My biggest mistake is getting fomo when there is rain In the forecast and trying to frantically plant too many things before the rain comes. Relax! The rain will come again 😁⛲

  9. Hi James. I live in PA and growing tomatoes for the first time. I have an issue with my tomatoes.. I think they're suffering from epinatsy, which is ethylene increase caused by overwatering. My tomatoes new growth leaves are curling in weird directions AND the branches are severely pointing downwards/twisted.. my 1.5 ft tomato looks like a christmas tree, rather than being open.

Wish I could send you some pictures for diagnostic. I'm not sure if its doomed, or recoverable. Just sad because I babied these from seeds…

  10. I saved a bee today and it felt great lol. For real though. I never had such an appreciation and love for bees as i do know growing my own food. I was in the store today and a bee was on the window sill, so i picked it up and brought it back outside. Actually made my day.

  11. @jamesprigionin – I love your garden. I have lots of pest pressure. Especially insects. I'm just wondering… the mesh on your hoops and over your raised beds… They don't knock down the sun and slow growth? I would assume it would create a lot of shade….

  12. I love your enthusiasm !! And watching Tuck is so much fun. I had 2 Yorkie mother and son. Mom passed a couple years ago at 15 1/2. Son is 14 now and we adopted a 4 yr old yorkie/chiwawa. They really steal your heart. Give Tuck a hug from a Yorkie mama from Montana. God bless ! Love your videos.

  13. I love gardening, but I come here for Tuck. I have a Yorkie named Ginger who loves being in the garden. She's a master gardener too. ❤❤❤❤❤❤

  14. I was the newbie here last season and these are all great tips. I've learned so much since last summer and I'm glad I kept it small scale then.
Now I have maybe 3x as many plants started and my mom has her traditional flowers started along with radish, tomato and a lot of herbs. We also have a ton of wild roses and yarrow growing around the yard perimeter and then tons of wildflowers in the woods
