It’s a shame you cant have that nifty tree spade dig a dozen extra holes along the new tree fencelines just to have those incredibly tidy holes ready for planting when you get the trees you want for those spots!

Laura, when I watched you swoop in and cut the drip line the tree digger snagged I thought, "Have FELCO will Travel." Of course, you are way to young to know what I am referring to. I love the tree digger too. One of those is probably top of Aarons wish list of new "toys."

I just bought a tamukama Japanese maple but unfortunately it didn’t come with an info tag. Just has the name on the nursery can. Is there any info you could provide? I was wanting to put it in a pot but not sure if that’s ok. I’m in a zone 9 in California and we get lots of cloud cover throughout our summers.
