Dan fillius ISU extension horiculture commercial vegetables here I just wanted to talk about a scouting tool that is uh pretty easy pretty cheap yellow sticky cards insects tend to be attracted to the color yellow and there’s just sticky glue coating both sides here on this one here we’ve got a number of fungus Nets which are past typical of the greenhouse you know the larvae or down in the potting media and then the Flies are just a nuisance we’ve see fungus Nets on here you might also find Shore flies thrips winged aphids any number of pests so this is a good thing to have scattered around as you can see around be me there’s plenty of these things and uh it’s a good early uh early warning system I mean these things are so stink and sticky that like uh you know it’s like fly tape exactly like that but yellow and so just avoid getting it in your hair or like stuck to your hands it’s it’s rough to clean up

I blame my receding hairline on too much exposure to sticky cards. They are VERY sticky.
