I’ve had this Haworthiopsis leaf for about a year now. It’s had root nubs growing slowly for a very long time. I recently set it on top of the substrate of a plant in a semi-hydro setup, so it’s been staying almost constantly moist. I just noticed that it was fat instead of looking like a potato chip, and it’s got roots!! Maybe it’ll grow a plant someday. Not sure if there’s enough meristem tissue attached.

That’s pretty cool. I’m sure the mother plant has put off about 7 pups by the time this little leaf put out a few tiny roots 🙂
Thought this was a hermit crab at first and had to do a double take lol. That’s awesome! I don’t think I’ve ever seen a prop from a haworthia leaf alone.
