I am wondering if anyone else has had trouble with using hygrometers to measure humidity.
I recently purchased one bc I feared I had overwatered my mossarium and was curious how high the humidity was getting. As I suspected the humidity was high (mid 90s) so I left my lid off for a couple days to try to decrease it.
Only issue is that my hygrometer is still reading high levels of humidity, but my moss is looking very dry and appearing to wilt. So now I’m not sure which direction to go in, keep venting/drying it out, or ignore the hygrometer. Any advice would be super helpful! (Sorry photos are the best quality)

I would recommend getting an [analog hygrometer](https://www.googleadservices.com/pagead/aclk?sa=L&ai=DChcSEwijrdn4sv6FAxW5lFAGHdqzC5YYABAIGgJkZw&ae=2&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIo63Z-LL-hQMVuZRQBh3aswuWEAQYAyABEgIs1_D_BwE&sph=&ohost=www.google.co.uk&cid=CAASJORoHa18-Oj6-ziZdXXC94k1pxgF-SaYy3UJhatiafLNzcopdg&sig=AOD64_0huxIL4IsJnMcCeHHP-1PIVRZMAw&ctype=5&q=&ved=2ahUKEwiyvdP4sv6FAxUzVUEAHRTJC7QQwg8oAHoECAUQGg&adurl=) like any you can find, I have the same digital ones and they are not particularly good, especially in a terrarium
Have you heard of the salt test to check for accuracy? [Salt Test Guide](https://www.wikihow.com/Test-a-Hygrometer) – easy method with items you likely already have around the house 🙂
