I made this jar like 3 years ago and it’s alive there’s some white specs I think are cyclops there is a lot of them but there’s this one snail and he seems lonely could I add some snails in here and maybe a twig or will that kill my jar will it be too much for it? Or will that help

    Also I swore it was dead for awhile so a couple years ago I just sat it outside for months and then moss started to grow that might be the green hairy stuff at the bottom I thought it was good for the snails they be all up in it I’d like to give him a friend but haven’t open in over 30 months!

    No, this ecosphere is already mature, meaning any change could destabilize it. It is also worth remembering that snails are hermaphrodites, so they can create an entire population with just one individual, so they will reproduce when they want or when the conditions are right.
