I rescued this plant and have no idea what it is or how to care for it, what kind of sunlight it needs. It looks depressed ): I'm thinking of repotting it into something a little bigger?
pachira aquatica, there are many colloquial money trees. they are often braided together and held with a twist tie. at some point you may want to remove that.

money tree aka pachira aquatica
they like lots of sun, well draining soil and to be watered once a week or two, check the soil before watering instead of watering on a set schedule, climate conditions can change throughout the year so how often you water during the winter will be different compared to summer

Money Tree. It grows chestnuts when it’s mature
