    You get the best compost at around 60-70C. Lower then this and it takes longer to compost and you might not get rid of all parasites and weeds. The highest I have heard of is 95C I am not quite sure how the microbes survive that high temperatures but apparently some anaerobic bacteria can survive those temperatures and even higher.

    Your little compost pile looks lovely. It is nice and black with no recognisable pieces in it. So it is ready to be spread out in the garden. Looks like you did a great job. Even though you have a hard time getting high temperatures in such a small pile it looks like you did a good job anyway.
