Well before the scourge of the dreaded Box 🐛. Now we might use Taxus, Ilex, Eleagnus etc. Such a shame as there is nothing quite like Box when it’s young & green & fluffy (if it’s white & fluffy you’ve got woolly Aphid and that’s not so nice)… .
