Cactus is just now beginning to wake up with warmer temps.

My thinking is the earlier the better, so the cooler temps will keep it more dormant and not trying to grow so fast but maybe that means slower rooting as well.

    What are your guys thoughts?

I have an idea I’ve been wanting to try. I’ve wondered you could cut gashes in the bottom of the scion and apply rooting hormone. Then once that’s dried and calloused air layer it to try and provoke roots. Degraft after roots pop.

Idk, again I haven’t tried this nor heard of anyone who has done it, but I thinking was it could help prevent eolation
