A nuttree of my garden felt in winter, so I decided to use It, adding also waste wood, to create my first hugelkultur raised bed. I'm thinking to use It for strawnberries and chards cause are capableto survive the winter and last a few years. Also collect strawnberries is easier from a raised bed 🙂
Any advice?

With that much wood you get a lot of lovely fungi. This is something that strawberries love. You generally find strawberry in the outskirts of woods where there are both light and a huge fungal network so this is optimal for them. However chard is usually found in open fields that have recently been disturbed. So you might have some issues with them in this bed. It is very well possible to grow chard in this bed but if possible I would have found another place to plant the chard and instead find a more suitable plant to optimise the conditions.
