We live in Australia. I am hoping that all of your expertise will be able to help me, eventhough it's not exactly a Greenhouse. π I have an enclosed sunroom where I keep my plants that gets a lot of bright, indirect sunlight a good part of the day. The room has south and west facing windows. But I'd of course like a bit more sun. My husband came up with the idea of replacing the corrugated metal sheets on the verandah outside with white opaque polycarbonate panels (we can't get clear or green). The gentleman at the hardware told me this wouldn't work because all of the panels are now required to block out UV and that using them wouldn't make any sense. But, even if it blocks out UV wouldn't it still be beneficial to them getting a ton more sunlight anyway? I mean, to me that makes sense, more light even without UV is better than not, yeah? Im hoping this will help create a more green house type effect…if that makes sense. Pictures attached of the panels and the sunroom. The windows on the left of the sunroom is where the verandah is. Thank you!!

Plants donβt use UV light for photosynthesis, itβs totally fine and your plants will grow great.
