Ive been grafting a few seedlings to pere once a month or so since December and found a method that works well for me. Last night I grafted 12 seedlings onto pere, fingers crossed that 75% of them make it. Im using aloe to “glue” the seedlings into the pere. Ive found using bigger seedlings gives higher success rates, so I used my 6 fatest varieties and grafted 2 each.
There under 3 layers of paper towel right now, each week ill take off layer. Once I see the explosive new growth aided by the pere ill take the cup off.

So you use fairly short pere cuttings it seems?

So no need to have downward pressure with this aloe “glue”? Can uou elaborate about how it’s done?
