Building a 20×40 4ft on center just making it up as i go. Bent my own poles do they look close enough to go ahead and bolt the hoops to the ground posts? What’s the best way to check they are the same height? Board on top with a level?

I assume you’re going to put purlins at the ridge and on the shoulders? And baseboards?
Also, I suggest you put braces angled from the bottom of the endwall hoops up to a few feet high on the third hoop. This will keep the whole damn thing from falling down.
You bent those? They look great. Connect purlins along both sides and along top and don’t forget angled braces at both ends on both sides.
Should’ve prepped the soil before you started … the next best time is now. Way more difficult after it is completed

Consider your maximum wind load, if it reaches 100 k or higher you may need various reinforcements
