I built the terrarium in July and it seemed fine. But then it started to die after a few weeks. The only thing that looked to still be living except a few worms in the jar was a bit of still green moss. until a few days ago when I noticed that some new plants had started to spring to life. after some consideration I assumed that the terrarium is to dry so I have now added a few pieces of ice into the jar and for the first time in months I can see some water in the drainage layer. Am I correct with my assumption that I didn’t add enough water into it when i built it?

try to add a little bit of water and put it in a warm place maybe it can help
Is it filled all the way to the top ?
