Does it have any spines? If not then this graft will likely not work as tbm tend to terminate growth at the top and pushes out new growth from spines

Tips I can give from my own experience. Clean blades and pressure is most important. I started putting my grafts in dark closet for 3 days then bring out to shade or window light. Sulphur is handy to have. Good luck mate! Nice job!

Nah u good. It shouldnât be that easy to graft, but it is. I thought my loph was going to fall off cause the joint was so small between the rootstock and scion but everyday it got stronger and thicker. Even when u think it didnât take, just make sure sometimes it can be a little slow to start showing new growth
