Wow, what a year! Currently, I actually have TWO humped bladderwort blooms in this bowl (they’re the two yellow things at and near the front side at the beginning of the vid)! 😃 Additionally, some of the amazon frogbit leaves are somehow still surviving completely submerged. I can’t remember if I mentioned it in an earlier post or not, but I may be planning to repurpose the contents of this bowl into the water feature of a new either ten or twenty gallon paludarium. Unlike this bowl that was a huge success as an ecosystem but a failure as a paludarium, I plan for the next one to have some rocks under the land side to further discourage erosion. Until (if) I get around to doing that though, I’ll continue to post updates if I see anything interesting. However, as with my other systems that are a year old or older, I won’t be doing anymore monthly updates on this bowl.
