Turning our creepy red shed into a greenhouse 🤞. The plan is to change the roof to clear panels, raise it about two feet. & install windows all around.

Whatever you do cut down those trees first. Thank me later

I would only add windows where it gets sun if you get much for cold temperatures.

Or leave it and build a greenhouse next to it! Then you have a place for dirt, tools and fertilizer storage

That shed is bigger in the inside than the outside

I think it may be better to remove the wood siding and roof, keep the wood framing in place, and attach polycarbonate to the frame and roof of the shed. This will allow in a lot more sunlight.

Or as others have said, it may be worthwhile to keep the shed as a storage area, and build a new greenhouse from scratch. Perhaps a sunken greenhouse.

How big? Double it then multiply by 3. Maybe big enough for a greenhouse.

Honestly turning this into a greenhouse makes no sense, just build a greenhouse. You’ll be using such a small amount of the original structure, it seems like a waste.

If it was me I would put up some hoops connected to the tallest wall. Use the shed as a potting shed connected to a cold frame. You could always use an old kerosene heater for a heat if you need it. Lots of room for tools and a bench and supplies. A place to work garden stuff when the weather is not all “warm and sunny” outside.
