The Purdue Extension Marion County Demonstration Garden was a whimsical garden designed by Extension Master Gardener volunteers with the local Purdue University Extension office. The garden featured a variety of AAS Winners arranged by different stories or topics. Some popular ideas included the “Surfing the Waves” garden bed, the “Tropical Paradise” collection of plants, and the “Once Upon a Time” grouping of eggplants. The garden also included a variety of containers with AAS Winners, such as the trio of sitting birds planted with Portulaca Sundial Peach and Salvia Blue by You. A fun activity in the garden was the “spin the wheel & win a prize” game, where participants could win a free package of vegetable or flower seeds by answering questions about the AAS Winners in the garden.

Congratulations… very inspiring little garden (and video). Keep up the good work of educating people in the art of growing themselves while growing a garden. ππΏπ¦ππ΅οΈππ»
