I’ve had this native hibiscus planted for a year and a lot of the bigger leaves have started looking diseased, turning yellow and falling off. The new leaves seem alright though and it’s actively growing.
Looks like normal plant ageing and leaf succession to me. Old leaves yellow and fall, it’s normal. You’ve got new growth happening, so I see no problem here.
