    Have you ever considered growing a clump or two (different diameters) of clumping bamboo for your own plant stakes? Clumping bamboo stays in one place, unlike running bamboo.

    Maybe you should try carving and drying the gourds into vegetable bowls or a really big one into a dog house for Tuck or into squirrel houses where the squirrels can put all the nuts they stealing.

    I am so sorry that you had all that damage. I have a suggestion for those drum gourds. Make bird, solitary bee, or wasp houses with them. Birdhouses as gifts if you want to keep birds out. Beneficial insect houses to bring them in. Food for thought. Thank you for sharing.

    Hey James, why don’t you dry the gourds and turn them into bowls/pots to hold the veggies as you harvest around the garden.😊

    The kids might like the gourds for Halloween. I'm sure you can collect all your windfalls & make into various sauces & stick in the freezer. Heart for TUCK!

    You could dry the gourds & make bird houses. They can be painted with acrylic paint then sprayed with clear to seal it. Thanks for the video.

    Yeah. I did that with a pepper when the kids were young; trying to get them to try new things. It turned out that it was a HABANARO!!! 🔥

    Mtaybe you can get a lot of little plants from those on the groind , then sell them to the neighbors. Or by mail. Some buy baby plants by mail.

    Thank goodness Tuck didn't blow away!! 😄❤❤❤ Could you carve a couple of the gourds like Jack-o'-lanterns? Even with the damage from the winds your garden still looks amazing. 😊

    That storm swung east to get Nova Scotia more than us here in NB. Glad it was not more serious! What a gourd , one that I never heard before!
