  1. right on ! thanks for the reminder, fall is coming we have sun i know that wont last , so i got to get out there and do the Tomatoes THANKS

  2. Can't believe it's coming to that point now we have to get our gardens ready for Autumn, the time has flown, I've got a couple of cabbage to harvest, & carotts, broccoli bolted all by one as I mentioned, had a great potatoe harvest, beans seem to have had a second wind, planted on some cauliflower a couple of weeks ago, I'll have a go at anything lol, only had a couple of tomatoe plants so maybe do more next time, thanks for the updates Ivan & looking forward to Autumn planting 😊

  3. Forgive me, Ivan, but I had a little laugh close to 8 minutes in when you moved back to show the many nearly-ripened tomatoes still on your vines. I’ve watched you harvest pan after pan of beautiful tomatoes in recent weeks, and it’s amazing how many more remain. I’ve never seen anything like it in a home garden. Your videos are an absolute inspiration to me even though I live on another continent in very different growing circumstances. Your advice still works.

  4. Those Italian.plums look so scrummy. I've tiered up whats left of my tomato plants up now. However I have 1 plant I started late it as lots of Tom's on but no red ones yet. I think they are changing colour so it's fingers crossed. Thank you for advice Ivan

  5. Ivan, have you or any subscribers heard of using indigestion tablets (as a source of calcium in the hole, covered with a little soil before planting out tomatoes, allegedly especially good for the Italian Plum to ward off blossom end rot!!!

  6. Thanks for the update Ivan, it's amazing the tomatoes, are still fruiting. Definitely going to grow Italian tomatoes next year.

  7. When you start pulling up tomatoes it means another garden season has gone. Watching you this year gave me the courage to thin my seedlings as I potting up some that have the real leaves now. Fall has finally come to Texas.

  8. Only just now getting some Christmas potatoes out hope its not too late! Thanks for all the gardening tips this year it really helps to follow along as we grow. Big thanks!

  9. Thanks Ivan, mine are still struggling to ripen even the few that I put into a cardboard box which is now on its third banana, lol. Take care and all the best. Stevie

  10. Maybe Ivan someone has already said it? But do you use the tomatoes you cut off to make tomato chutney.

  11. You've done a grand job there Ivan.Have to be a bit brutal this time of year to get the last remaining fruit to ripen. I looked at my tomatoes today and decided they all need cutting back now and pick the ripened tomatoes and leaver the others to ripen. Will freeze the harvest and make sauces with them at a later date when i have more time. Should look much tidier by tomorrow evening.

  12. Would you ever consider, wrapping the tomatoes in plastic, bubbly wrap maybe? To see if you can extend the growing season,, just a thought i had sitting here watching your video. Kathleen Mary
