I got this cactus for a really good deal at local nursery. In my excitement, I didn’t realize it has scale 😮‍💨 thought it was just scaring or corking in the moment.. I got the obvious parts off but it really hard to reach in between and get the ones really hiding in there. I’ve tried 70% alcohol and insecticidal soap. Even a qtip won’t get in some of the spots. Advice? Is there a better product/method I could use?

A systemic insecticide applied to soil. I’ve used Bonide systemic to get rid of scale, takes a couple of months and you need to reapply to the soil once a month until they’re gone.

I use neem oil then use a stiff brush with long bristles to get into all the nooks and crannies then blast off with the hose
