I planted these cuttings in two separate pots at the beginning of August. Both pots got pretty much the same care. Cuttings from the terracotta pot are soft and wilted and the ones in the plastic pot are plump and seem happy. What can be the reason for that? I tried to water the terracotta pot less/more but nothing seems to be making much difference.
Also, is this a Christmas or an Easter cactus?

the dimples one is a bit dry or hasn’t got enough roots yet. Makes sense that it’s the terracotta pot – they lose water to evaporation through the porous walls.
these cactuses dont really need to be dry – just keep the soil slightly moist at all times. This can mean daily watering for large specimens.
