Hi, we bought this Persian Shield two days ago, but today after noon it started to bow its head. Now it looks sleepy. We watered it just yesterday. Why is it acting like that? Is it too hot? Did we not water enough? How can we save it? The winder is facing south so it should be getting enough sunlight during the day.

Are the leaves on the upright portion firmer than the leaves on the tipped over bit? Have you checked down low to make sure that it didn’t get bent or broken at the base? Did you check the soil before you watered? What kind of light was it getting at the place you bought it?
Check closely for pests, but also over-watering could be an issue.
Persian shields are drama queens lol! They do not like bright direct light (they are shade plants), from my experience even with watering every other day you should still spray the leaves (that seems to work well for me).
