So my golden Pothos randomly started growing these on 5 nodes in a row near the base of the plant. I haven’t cut this plant ever. This is a 3 foot long vine and it gets bright indirect light and a proper watering schedule. (When too two inches are dry) I also give it food every couple weeks but am slowing that down now /stopping as fall is near.
So I then cut ends off two of the other vines and new brown sprouted on those and these are at a standstill. I assume just focusing on the cut vines at the moment. But are these supposed to be new Leaves? Or new vines? What is !?

New growth * typed so fast autocorrect got me. Not brown !!
Each vine is a separate plant unless you can visibly see where it splits, so activity on one is unrelated to the others. Apical dominance means that growth at other nodes most likely halts unless there’s a buildup of auxins and sugars there.
mine did this as well without any pruning and most of them turned out to be healthy leaves/vines! i couldn’t really tell if you pruned or not but when you do cut them, they need some time to pop out new growth but in the long run they’ll thank you for it!
