Hey Laura! I’ve heard that adding sage to canned goods can cause bitterness. Is that just a myth? I never add sage just in case! Have you noticed any bitterness in your marinera sauce?

I’ve purchased from fast growing trees and love their trees and shrubs. Came in great condition.
Laura to help with the acidity level you can set up a small rain catchment system and use that water for the avocados and blueberry bushes. i know you don't get a bunch of rain all the time but I have seen where the use of rain water makes a difference. also avocado trees like a layer of leaves on the surface of the soil to help maintain a moist layer for fine roots, when the leaves fall just place them on the surface, this works for me although my trees are outdoor trees about 15 -20 ft high.

I had an avocado pit that made it into my compost, don’t compost them unless you want them to sprout. But it’s now a very small tree in my garden, I live in zone 9b so I’m hoping it will keep thriving outside. 😅 enjoy your avocado trees.

The hass avocado I have in my back yard, Central Florida, is about 15 feet tall and we top it every year.

I don’t like the company that’s growing trees. Every tree that I have ordered from them has died. And that’s not because of me not attending to it. I got tired of them sending me a new one because they do have a great warranty system going. But I finally quit.
I had no luck with their trees…I get mine from the tree center.
Could the squash be a kabocha?
To anyone buying trees from them plant them asap! We bought 12 giants thuja and 11 died because we waited 3 days to plant. They refused to respond to our emails and calls. Never again.
