I have never found sheep to be very playful like goats. The rams were giant love bugs but the girls were straight jerks. Probably because there was so many of them or they just conspired to hate us.
I worked at a farm with over 200 head. The only time I got to interact with the babies was to give them shots, band their tails, and tag. After that the moms made them hate us. There was a giant black ram that would run up and let me love on him like a dog. The boys made it worth it though I’m sure the girls would be much nicer in smaller numbers. I had a ewe run while we were weighing her to check her pregnancy and she bolted with me clinging to her back into 70 head of sheep while my boss was rolling on the ground laughing. I only got a little trampled lol.
