Okay so I’m very new to owning plants in general, so please forgive my ignorance but I’m trying to propagate this pothos cutting that a friend gave me mid-July and I’m a bit confused on what to do right now.
The roots grow a bit, then the tips turn dark and they stop growing. [Then new roots grow and do the same thing.](https://i.imgur.com/CF2oklW.jpg)
I’ve been changing the water once per week and now I’m noticing some fluffy stuff on the roots too?
What should I do? When can I put this in soil?
