    Each of these branches can be snipped off and planted in soil and they will grow 100% of the time. Purple heart is a similar plant and does the same, but it looks so much better. Very aggressive though.

    You can snip off little pieces and just throw them on some damp dirt and they will take root. Great plant.

    A well lit area is your cue. Needs good light to retain its color and to stay compact.
