Experimenting and searching for a botanical extension to my color field paintings. So different from my meticulous multiprocess paintings, these are feeling expressive and free. I am loving this new journey to more abstract work. It’s giving me goosebumps I’m so excited!
It’s really scary to change things up and post new work here but I know I have to. I have been experiencing a lot of pain in my neck and shoulder from holding my pencil and brush to tight and being hunched over my desk for hours on end, consumed with perfection. This caused 3 day tension headaches that would take me away from making art.
You guys are really important to me and I hope you’ll keep following my new journey. Also excited to keep honesty and real ness on my page while instagram accounts become more and more about ads and sales. I came here initially to share my daily creative process with you!
