My new preferred method for grafting seedlings slightly bigger than the pereskiopsis, flat cuts using hemp wick to apply just enough pressure for it to stay on there


The wax coating makes the wick sturdy for surprisingly stable pressure, it also sticks to plastic pots so you don’t have to tie it/doesn’t easily come loose, I’ve had better results with this method compared to impale grafts and works especially good for lophs from my experience

    Thin cuts of panty hose over the top held by an orchid clip or small hair clip also works
